Are you a Business Interested in Being Featured?
The True North Collective is a platform that helps newcomers settle and live a successful and happy life in Canada. We aim to provide newcomers with the best possible deals and opportunities and we are willing to feature certain partners for free.
Unlike other platforms, we do not charge for promotion or take any referral fees, we just want the best possible deals for our users, so we ask our partners to pass on savings to our members.
All offers are private and behind a paywall, so the general public cannot access them.
Examples of deals include:
A discount (% or $ off)
A free item with a purchase
A one-time welcome offer

Are you a Settlement/Refugee/Employment Agency Interested in Being Featured?
Part of our mandate is to feature and promote free and beneficial events and services from newcomers-focused agencies across Canada.
If you are a non-profit agency and provide free services for newcomers in your community we’d love to feature you in our resources section and mention your events on our website and in our newsletter when possible.

Do you have an event that you want us to feature?
We feature both paid and free events that we feel our community will enjoy. We focus mainly on networking events for business owners/entrepreneurs and job seekers and social events that help people connect.
If the event is paid, we will prfioritize events that have a special offer for our members.
To have your event featured, email me, Jon, at [email protected] along with the following information (we will rewrite it so you can just use bullet points, or send links if that helps):
What city and province will the event be in?
What is the name of the event?
What is a 1-sentence summary of the event? (Why should someone attend?)
What date (or dates) is the event? (Start date, end date, start time, end time etc)
Where is the venue? (Name and address)
What is the cost of the event? (Include discount for members if available)
What link should we send our members to?
We will write the event feature based on your responses and send it to you for approval before it goes live.
